Aromatherapy for Therapists September 13 10-5 pm – Live Course is for the massage therapist looking for practical experience in using essential oils for their clients. This course guides students to use particular essential oils for specific conditions. Teacher, Jeannine Millan is a Registered Massage Therapist, Registered Aromatherapist, and Usui Reiki Master has used and taught about the benefits of essential oils since 2000.
This live learning class covers the basic history of essential oils and their benefits as well as cautions. We’ll cover 12 essential oils, including which oils are safe for pregnancy. Also included are carrier oils, blending ratios and a list of common conditions we see every day as therapists, and you will learn how to use essential oils effectively for these conditions. Four typical conditions are covered, Headaches, Sore Muscles and Lactic Acid removal, Bone and Joint issues and Stress Reduction.
After learning about the oils in the morning and we break for lunch I will demonstrate how to use the oils on a demo person, then we break up into pairs and each student will then use the oils, blends on each other in a 1-hour session.
A kit is included which has 5 ml of each of the oils covered and 4 blends that resonate with the conditions covered. The value of the kit is $160.00 retail.
