This Sandalwood also comes from Western Austraila and is considered sustainable as the distiller forages the forests for fallen down Sandalwood trees and harvest those. 
I use Desert Dry in my blends calling for sandalwood.  
This oil only became prized in Europe during the last 200 years for its aromatic benefits. Highly revered as a Meditation oil as it quietens the mind chatter like Frankincense and both are considered higher frequency oils and are included in my Meditation blend.Also known for skin care issues especially where heat is involved or inflammation or loss of moisture or elasticity., exzema or psoriasis.  Good also for chronic respiratory issues like bronchitis and dry cough you can add to a carrier and apply to the chest and back.
